United States Coast Guard

About

The U.S. Coast Guard is a branch of the U.S. armed forces and a maritime law enforcement, search-and-rescue, and homeland security agency operating under the Department of Homeland Security. It operates a fleet of cutters, boats, and fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft, and has been expanding its use of unmanned aircraft systems and autonomous maritime technologies for surveillance, interdiction, and environmental response. In the robotics industry it is a government customer and adopter of uncrewed platforms rather than a developer.
